Xiao Mao in Kindergarten
Finally, our Mr Xiao Mao is in school!
He attends the Impian Molek Kindergarten at Taman Molek. This Montessori-based kindergarten has been around for > 10 years. The principal is called Madam Chan, and there are few more teachers.
There really are a lot of kindergartens in Johor Bahru now, but we did not spend a lot of time looking around - in fact, we were super-lazy, and only visited 2 kindergartens before we decided on this. One reason, of course, is that this kindergarten is not bad, everyone speaks English (we want them to give our Xiao Mao the 'devil' training :). Nonetheless, what drove us to the decision is that the other kindergarten is really 'different' - those traditional kind, where Xiao Mao is expected to do some homework gua... Don't want him to suffer so young age!
Xiao Mao attends the 'afternoon' session, 11.30am - 2.30pm. Here's some of his achievements and amusement in the kindergarten:

Day 1: Xiao Mao seemed a bit 'kia kia'. When we fetched him home, he was very quiet, teachers said Xiao Mao was 'observing'. All we know is that he learned to 'pai dui' (line up)
Day 2: Teacher said Xiao Mao likes to eat rice - there were buns for snack, but Xiao Mao said he wanted to eat other people's rice :S
Day 3: Teacher said Xiao Mao 'can speak a lot of Chinese, and is quite talkative' - pengsan!
Week 2: Xiao Mao said, Teacher Alice asked him 'not to sing when eating'. So, what did he sing?
=> I sang, 'Chia chia chiam bo, Chia chia chiam bo, Chia chia chiam bo, Chia chia chiam bo,CHIA CHIAM BO!!!!!'
=> then teacher 'yun dao' (pengsan)
